My heart is red,
so red,
just as red as the bricks that paved the Auswitz camp,.. and I said:
"oh please. Please, don't mention my ... hands"
And I'll just love you from afar
because I'll keep thinking about the second world war
and how disgusting human nature really is
and as I wander these cemeteries
that time turned in city streets
I watch the dust stick to my feet...
We line in rows to wait for true love
we line in rows to kneel and pray the Above
To believe in such God is to be at its mercy.
How poetic the tragedy
if after a life lining up, kneeling down,
with the head under the ground, without making a sound;
at the last minute of a life of slumber,
one is find their true love in a gas chamber?
