INTO THE SHADOW SHE TREADS, with eyes just as hollow as her grave
Searching a Sun amid deads; like an anchor her fingers would crave
For the gap in her chest is eaten by heart cancer
Echo would sigh from afar, yet there was no answer;
The Lake muted under the gaze of its lover.
Her head of rotting flesh, which way has it sent her?
A rib cage of pure black adorning her center
that her exposed bones surround like a white cloister
And Echo weeps to her mar, yet there is no answer
And settles to seek it in the gaping water.
And the mirror is alive, speaking of her splendor,
Its speech hides the reflected eyes of the ghoul
Echo still mourns Narcissus, her Sunrise and Ender;
But is there even such a thing as a soul?
If we all end up turning into a disgraceful flower.
(...For, in your eyes torn asunder,
do I see the reflections of Above,
or solely the way you love?
You will be, forever
left to wonder)
