You blink you eyes open a few times and feel yourself automatically yawn, bringing a hand up to cover it tiredly. You stretch your arms above your head, and it's only then that you remember where you are, as you cast your eyes around the room warily, before landing on the space next to you, on the huge queen sized bed, that is empty.
He left?
You stare at the cold, white sheets, a little in shock.
It's hard to explain the feeling;
heart sinks - like the mattress when he came to lay down last night
whispering, "only this one time…"
And chest becomes just as empty as the space beside you on the bed
It doesn't matter if there's a logical explanation,
or that it might not be as bad as you think it is.
The initial feeling is just one of complete loneliness.
